A Trusting Gaze
Day 97: A Trusting Gaze
Psalm 121:1-2
"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
In times of challenge, our focus often narrows to our immediate struggles. When we look at all He has created, we are reminded of His grandeur and the vastness of His provision. The Maker of heaven and earth is not distant; He is actively involved in our lives, offering help and guidance. Let’s reflect on this passage, considering how shifting our gaze from ‘the issues of life’ to God’s greatness can transform our perspective and renew our hope.
Questions: What personal challenges make it hard for you to lift your eyes and trust in God’s provision? How can you create a daily practice of looking beyond your immediate circumstances to embrace God’s greater plan?
Prayer: Lord, I lift my eyes to You, trusting that my help comes from Your mighty hand. Remind me of Your greatness and Your constant presence, even in the midst of my struggles. Guide me to see the bigger picture and to rely on Your everlasting care. Amen.
