Paths That Mislead
Day 99: Paths That Mislead
Proverbs 14:12
"There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death."
Proverbs 14:12 challenges us to look beyond the surface of our choices. Often, what seems promising can lead us down a path that ultimately brings harm or emptiness. This verse calls us to a deeper discernment—a recognition that our human perspective is limited. Only by seeking God’s wisdom can we avoid the alluring traps that the world lays before us. As you reflect today, consider how you might differentiate between the path that appears attractive and the one that truly leads to life.
Questions: What are some decisions in your life that, although appealing at first, may lead to harm in the long run?
How can you seek and trust in God’s guidance to choose the path that brings true life?
Prayer: Lord, grant me wisdom to see beyond the surface and choose the path that leads to life. Help me to trust in Your guidance and avoid the pitfalls of choices that seem right in my own eyes but lead to destruction. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
